RE-LAID l30M2 OF PATIO WITH NEW SANDSTONE SLABS
Darren and his team re-laid a large patio area on split levels with new sandstone slabs, built a new low wall around the patio and installed a soakaway.
Darren kept us informed of the daily activities, work progressed steadily with no interruptions and was finished on time and for estimate given. He was able to incorporate the new features we wanted and gave sound professional advice. The site and the surrounding garden area was always kept tidy with material and tools being cleared up at the end of each day.
The whole team was very courteous and we were very pleased with the end result.
CONSERVATION AREA - EXTRA COURSES OF BRICK AND RE-POINT IN LIME MORTAR
Having done previous jobs for us Darren is the only bricklayer we use now. He carried out a full repaint using lime mortar to an old wall in a conservation area and added four new courses. As always he was efficient and his workmanship is excellent. I would recommend him to anybody.
REBUILD OF GARDEN WALL
Darren (gaffer) is wonderful to deal with. He was upfront about the nature of the Job and the challenge of securing matching bricks etc. Visited to show me samples and on the day of the repair work, Dan (his builder) was efficient, courteous and the whole area was left tidy, with all waste removed and was even hosed down.
I could not have asked for more. I will happily use in the future.
REPAIRS TO DRAIN MANHOLE AND PIPE
The was a rather urgent job discovered after a blocked drain cleared. Darren came the next day and effected the repair.
As before when I have used him, he was quick, clean and tidy, and I am very satisfied with the standard of his work.
CONCRETE BASE AND BRICKWORK FOR A CONSERVATORY
We have recently had Darren complete the groundwork and base and brickwork for a conservatory we are building. He has been amazing going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the works undertaken. He has been there at the times that we arranged and has been a pleasure to have on site always polite and nothing was too much trouble. We will be using Darren again for future projects and would highly recommend to others and give a 5 star rating.
REPOINTING OF OUTDOOR PATH AND STEPS
Darren was very responsive to my initial email. Within 24 hours he was at my property giving me a very competitive quote. Another 24 hours later and he was working on the job.
